Nordea to partner with Taimer 

Nordea Bank, mother of the largest financial group in Northern Europe and operating in 16 countries, has selected a rapidly growing Finnish company named Taimer Oy as its new partner for complementing its corporate product portfolio. The Taimer platform is focused on activating businesses of all sizes from startups to enterprise levels by making project management, CRM, and invoicing a super easy task.

Taimer to facilitate business operations

Taimer is a comprehensive platform that focuses on project management, customer relationship management (CRM), collaboration, invoicing and financial management that meets the needs of small and medium-sized businesses to enterprise levels. Taimer was created as a solution to the practical needs of the business of its partners Eero Saarinen and  Fredi Palmgren, as well as other small sized businesses. The goal was to develop a tool with the capability to manage both business and team in a centralized, simple, and cost-efficient way.

Now, Taimer offers a solution to the often fragmented financial management systems, a daunting problem many businesses face. Instead of using a variety of non-integrated tools, multiple business functions have been centralized in Taimer. The main reason behind its exponential success. Founders of Taimer as a contribution to the startups and small business community have announced an offering of two new versions of their platform, in addition to their ERP versions. These new versions include Free CRM which is free forever for 1-2 users and Sales CRM version which is targeted for sales teams without any limitations on the number of users. These new versions are expected to disrupt the market.

Taimer adds value to Nordea's service concept

The cooperation with Taimer is part of Nordea's new strategy, with the bank offering its business customers the option of integrating third-party services into their banking services.

With this cooperation, we are looking to facilitate everyday operations, especially for our smaller business customers, and to strengthen our relationship with them. Also, other future development projects are underway, the results of which will be announced at a later stage", says Sampsa Laine, Deputy Head of Banking and responsible for Nordea's digital services for SMEs.

Taimer is a new kind of fintech - a service that offers added value to Nordea's business customers. Taimer will initiate collaboration with Nordea with the new Taimer Standard version, designed for use by smaller teams and to meet the needs, and exceed expectations of both Nordea and Taimer’s customers.

Taimer provides a new, interesting addition to Nordea's overall business management services for corporate customers, too. In order to optimize business management as a whole, the bank's goal is to fully integrate billing-related functions such as e-invoicing, automatic processing of purchase invoices, and factoring services.

 "Taimer is also interesting for Nordea as, in addition to banking, it has been integrated into numerous accounting software platforms. We create and provide businesses with a new, seamless way of managing and controlling all of the companies most integral operations through a flexible, centralized service concept,” Laine continues.

Potential users booming to thousands of SME’s

During its five years of operation, Taimer has grown rapidly and organically, without any external investors. Taimer is already in use by thousands of paying customers.
